How much treatment will I need?
The amount of treatment needed depends on several factors, including the area(s) being treated (such as upper and lower eyelids, crow’s feet, lip lines and perioral area, hands, stomach, and knees), the strength of your facial muscles, and the depth of your existing lines. Does it hurt?
Most people find Plasma IQ treatments very tolerable. Before starting, a topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area to keep you comfortable. During the procedure, you may feel a slight warming or tingling sensation as the device works on your skin. Some areas, like around the eyes, may feel more sensitive than others, but overall, discomfort is minimal.
What's the downtime?
There is virtually zero downtime with neurotoxin treatments. Often referred to as a “lunchtime procedure,” most patients can return to work or normal activities immediately. Some redness and swelling may occur at the injection sites but usually subside within a few hours. Minor bruising is rare.
After treatment, it’s common to feel a mild sunburn-like sensation and notice some redness or swelling, which typically improves within a few days. Tiny crusts form where the plasma was applied and naturally flake off within about a week.
How long do results last?
Results can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on the area treated, your skin’s natural aging process, and lifestyle factors such as sun exposure, smoking, and skincare maintenance.

Pre-Treatment Instructions
Avoid Makeup: Do not wear makeup to your appointment so our injectors can see your fine lines and wrinkles clearly.
Timing: Schedule your appointment at least two weeks before any important event.
Alcohol: Avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours before the injection.
Skincare Products: Avoid Retin-A, Tretinoin, and Retinoids for three days prior to the injection.
Skin Cleanliness: Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin for proper assessment and injection planning.
Eligibility: Clients who are pregnant or nursing are not eligible for neurotoxin treatment.
Post-Treatment Instructions
There may be stinging in the treated area immediately following the treatment and typically lasta ~ 1 hour, but some variation in time may occur.
DO NOT pick at or scratch at scabs during the healing phase, typically 5-7 days. This may delay healing or affect outcomes. Avoid touching or cleansing the area for at least 12 hours after the procedure. In case of infection, consult your physician.
Continue to apply moisturizer or occlusive balm twice daily after gently cleansing. Avoid sunlight, exercise, heat, steam, or sweat for 48 hours after the procedure. After 48 hours, apply sunscreen to the treated area daily. DO use makeup or products other than sunscreen/moisturizer/occlusive balm on the treated area until scabs have fallen off.
